UK100 is a network for locally-elected UK leaders who want to combat climate change. Its report “Power Shift”, is a comprehensive summary of the legal measures local government can use to reduce emissions. Beate Kubitz Associates contributed a chapter on transport to this report, which considers topics as diverse as congestion charging and fleet procurement, their potential impacts and the limits of local authority influence. Transport planners and councillors were also interviewed, adding real-world insight to the report.
