As the extent of the challenge of decarbonising our transport system becomes apparent, researchers are looking at the problem from interesting new angles. The Centre for Research into Energy Demand Solutions is one such body, and advocates for demand-side management of energy use in areas including transport.

The most recent report produced by CREDS sub-group the Commission on Travel Demand considers shared mobility and its potential to contribute to a cleaner future transport system. I submitted a response to their call for evidence which was used in the final report.
